Temporary Rules for Guests and Range Operations

Following Provincial and Waterloo Region regulations and having listened to the concerns of members, BRG Club has implemented temporary rules of operation for the ranges:

BRG Club has restricted the use of the ranges to members and guests that are immediate family members who live in the same household.

The number of stations on both ranges have been reduced to provide proper social distancing: 2 stations on the 100 yard range and 4 stations on the 25 yard range.

The maximum number of people on each range is limited. On the 100 yard range the limit is 3 including the RSO. On the 25 yard range the limit is 5 including the RSO. Other shooters are asked to stay outside until there is an open spot available.

There is a time limit of 1 hour if other shooters are waiting to shoot. You may “share” a station (20 minutes on, 20 minutes off). Limitations regarding number of people on each range still needs to be respected if you chose to share your station.

All members and guests are asked to have masks available. Although the 25 yard range is open air, members must wear a mask when asked by other shooters or the RSO. In the close confines of the 100 yard house, masks are recommended and must be worn when asked.

We ask that everyone maintain proper social distancing in all circumstances.
